Weatherman saves tiny shivering kitten from tornado rubble

The little thing was very cold, very wet, and very sad.

A WEATHERMAN FROM a local Ohio news station became an unlikely hero after a strong tornado tore through the town of Cedarville last week.

While out reporting on the damage, he spotted a very wet, very sad kitten mewing from the wreckage.

It had survived the destruction of two homes and a barn owned by the Dobbins family, who say it had been born recently in their barn.

The WHIO weatherman scooped the kitty up and wrapped it in a jacket, keeping it warm in the news truck.

Here’s the footage from the moment they found the little critter:

After being treated by a vet, the kitten was reunited with the Dobbins family, who discovered two other kittens from the same litter while clearing up the wreckage.

The three have been named the three Lucky, Storm and Twister, and are said to have made a full recovery from their ordeal.

Aww. The happiest of happy endings.
